- The three Peninsular operators — Magnum, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai — and the East Malaysian pools all draw on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, from around 7pm Malaysian time.
- On top of that the Ministry of Finance assigns a limited number of special draws each year, normally falling on a Tuesday. They are ordinary draws in every respect except the day.
- The Cambodia-licensed games followed from Malaysia — Grand Dragon, Perdana, Lucky Hari Hari and 9 Lotto — draw daily instead, so their result pages fill in on days when the Malaysian ones are empty.
- Singapore Pools draws 4D on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and TOTO on Monday and Thursday, on its own calendar rather than the Malaysian one.
Who sets the calendar
Special draws beyond the Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday cycle are assigned by the Ministry of Finance, which licenses the Malaysian number forecast operators. They are ordinary draws falling on an unusual day, normally a Tuesday.
