A 4D ticket does not stay claimable forever, so the first thing to establish about an old draw is the date, and the second is the claim window for that operator.
- Da Ma Cai publishes its own draw-date index going back to 2005, and that index is what the archive on this site is built from for that operator.
- The archive stores what the operator published, together with the date we fetched it and the date we last re-checked it against the source.
- A draw we could not confirm stays out of the archive rather than going in as an unmarked guess.
How far back the archive reaches
Da Ma Cai's own past draw results page publishes an index of its own draw dates going back to 2005, and that index is what the archive is built from for that operator. Other operators expose shorter windows, so the archive depth differs by brand.
Each stored draw keeps the source it came from, when it was fetched and when it was last re-checked. Background on the 4-Digits game and Sports Toto, one of the licensed operators.
What an archive is actually for
The honest use of a results archive is checking an old slip, and that is a race against the operator's claim window rather than an open-ended lookup. Establish the draw date first, then the claim period that operator sets, and only then the numbers — a matching number on an expired slip is not a prize.
Why archive depth differs by operator
Depth is a property of the source, not of our effort. Da Ma Cai's own past draw results page exposes an index of its own draw dates reaching back to 2005, so the archive runs deep for that operator. Others publish only the latest draw, which means their history here can only accumulate forward from the day we started reading them. We would rather say that plainly than pad a table.
